Job Description
Bonjour! Hola! Ciao! rTriibe is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher in Rhyl to inspire and engage secondary school pupils. Whether your specialism is French, Spanish, or Italian, we want to hear from you!
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive school network where you’ll bring languages to life in the classroom, helping students gain confidence in speaking, reading, writing, and listening. Both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and inclusive MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach and assess the four language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
• Plan lessons that develop grammar, vocabulary, and cultural awareness.
• Monitor pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and support exam preparation.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the modern languages curriculum.

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Modern Foreign Languages (or a related subject).
• PGCE with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK.
• Strong subject knowledge in French, Spanish, or Italian.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Valid Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Prior teaching experience preferred (supply or permanent).
