Calling all Modern Foreign Languages enthusiasts! Are you passionate about French, Spanish, or Italian? rTriibe is on the lookout for a dedicated MFL Specialist to join our team in Huddersfield. If you have a flair for bringing language learning to life, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Create engaging and inclusive lesson plans to teach French, Spanish, or Italian across a range of abilities.
• Assess student progress and provide valuable feedback to help them develop their language skills.
• Develop students’ competencies in speaking, reading, writing, and listening in the target language.
• Cultivate an immersive environment that enhances students’ understanding of grammar and vocabulary.
• Foster enthusiasm for language learning, encouraging students to use their new skills in practical and creative ways.
• Work collaboratively with other staff to support the overall educational experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages, Linguistics, or a related field (essential).
• A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (essential).
• Experience or strong competency in teaching French, Spanish, or Italian (essential).
• Knowledge and experience in teaching the four key language competencies: speaking, reading, writing, and listening.
• Strong understanding of language grammar and vocabulary.
• Enhanced DBS (essential) to ensure a safe and inspiring learning environment.
