We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Qualified Design & Technology Teacher to join secondary schools across Birmingham, delivering practical, engaging, and future-focused lessons that inspire students to think, design, and create.
Location: Birmingham
Position: Qualified Design & Technology Teacher
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Type: Full-Time | Long-Term & Permanent Opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality DT lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Teach specialisms such as Resistant Materials, Product Design, Graphics, or Engineering
• Plan and assess creative, hands-on projects
• Promote health and safety in workshop environments
• Support student progress and develop practical skills
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
• Ability to inspire creativity and critical thinking
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
