We are seeking a qualified and passionate teacher to deliver outstanding lessons across Humanities subjects in a dynamic Birmingham school. Key Responsibilities – as a Humanities Teacher, you will:
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Humanities subjects (e.g., History, Geography, Religious Studies).
• Inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to drive achievement.
• Use innovative teaching methods to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Humanities curriculum.
• Promote a positive classroom environment that supports student well-being and respect.
• Participate in school-wide activities, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

Person Specification:
• Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
• Experience: Previous experience teaching Humanities in a secondary school setting is highly desirable.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Passion: A dedication to fostering curiosity and critical thinking in Humanities subjects.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate: On the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
