Salary: £750 – £850 per week

⏰ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day

About the Role:
Are you an enthusiastic and qualified MFL Teacher ready to inspire students in language learning? We are seeking a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join our Birmingham team. In this role, you will deliver engaging language lessons, support students in developing language skills, and cultivate a love for foreign languages. This position is perfect for those passionate about promoting language learning and cultural awareness.
This is a unique opportunity to shape students’ understanding of the world, foster communication skills, and make a lasting impact in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities – as an MFL Teacher, you will:
• Lesson Planning and Delivery: Create and deliver lessons in your target language(s), engaging students across all abilities.
• Skill Development: Help students build competencies in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in the foreign language.
• Cultural Enrichment: Introduce students to cultural aspects of language, fostering an appreciation for diversity.
• Student Assessment: Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting lessons as needed.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment.
• Parental Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians to update them on student progress.

Person Specification:
• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and specialization in Modern Foreign Languages.
• Skills: Excellent communication, adaptability, and classroom management skills; proficiency in one or more foreign languages (e.g., French, Spanish, German).
• Experience: Proven experience teaching languages in a secondary school setting, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Other Requirements: Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
