Salary: £400 – £450 per week
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time, suitable for individuals with a passion for supporting student learning
⏰ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7-8 hours per day

About the Role:
Are you enthusiastic about helping students succeed and providing the support they need to thrive in a school environment? We are seeking a dedicated School Learning Support Worker to join our Birmingham team. In this role, you’ll work alongside teachers to support students in their learning journey, ensuring every child has the resources and guidance needed to achieve their potential.
This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals looking to make a real difference in the academic development of students, especially those who need additional
support.

Key Responsibilities – as a School Learning Support Worker, you will:
• Classroom Support: Assist teachers in the delivery of lessons and support students with their individual learning needs.
• One-to-One and Small Group Support: Work with students who require additional help, providing tailored assistance to meet their educational needs.
• Behavioural Support: Help manage classroom behaviour, encouraging students to stay focused and participate in activities.
• Student Progress Monitoring: Track and report on student progress, providing feedback to both teachers and parents to ensure continuous improvement.
• Support for SEN Students: Provide additional support for students with Special Educational Needs, ensuring their needs are met within the classroom.
• Learning Resource Preparation: Help prepare and organize learning materials to support lesson plans and activities.

Person Specification:
• Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is preferred.
• Skills: Excellent communication, patience, and organizational skills. Ability to adapt to different learning styles.
• Experience: Experience working with children in a school setting, particularly supporting students with additional needs, is beneficial.
• Other Requirements: Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
