About the Role
As a Science Teacher, you’ll be responsible for:
• Engaging and Inspiring Students: Delivering lessons across KS3 to KS5, sparking curiosity and a love for science through dynamic teaching methods.
• Classroom and Behaviour Management: Ensuring a positive learning environment through effective classroom management and discipline strategies.
• Creating Exciting Learning Experiences: Planning and implementing creative lessons that captivate students and encourage active participation.
• Fostering Scientific Thinking: Helping students build strong foundations in scientific knowledge while developing their critical thinking skills.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or its equivalent
• Experience teaching KS3 to KS5 science
• A strong understanding of science subjects, with the ability to teach across multiple disciplines (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
• Classroom and behaviour management skills to ensure a focused, productive environment
• An Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or the willingness to apply for one
