This is a great opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to make a positive impact in the classroom.
As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and informative lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5, helping students develop a strong understanding of scientific concepts while encouraging curiosity and critical thinking. You will play an important role in creating a supportive learning environment that motivates students to achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 to KS5
• Create a positive and structured classroom environment that supports effective learning
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing clear feedback and support
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
• Encourage students’ curiosity, analytical thinking, and interest in scientific topics
• Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider school community
• Uphold safeguarding policies and promote high standards of education
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply
• Previous UK classroom experience within secondary education
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service
• Two professional references, including one from a school setting
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
