Are you passionate about supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are seeking a committed SEMH Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Bradford, providing crucial support to students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support students’ emotional, physical, and educational development in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Lead tailored activities for individuals or small groups to encourage engagement and learning.
• Promote and reinforce self-confidence, self-esteem, and independence.
• Build positive relationships and support the inclusion of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Candidate Requirements:
• Previous experience working as an SEMH Teaching Assistant is essential.
• Experience supporting students with SEN is highly desirable.
• Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be available full-time or a minimum of 3 days per week.
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
