We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team in Bradford.
Role Overview:
As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the physical, emotional, and educational development of students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You will be responsible for leading activities with individuals or small groups in a safe and supportive environment, helping to promote positive behaviour, reinforce self-esteem, and encourage engagement in learning.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience supporting students with SEMH and SEN needs
Ability to lead structured activities to facilitate student development
Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills
A calm, empathetic and supportive approach
Availability for full-time work or a minimum of 3 days per week
Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply
