We’re looking for a compassionate and adaptable SEMH Teaching Assistant to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in schools across Wallasey. If you have experience working with SEND pupils, a patient and composed approach, and strong verbal communication skills, we want to hear from you!
In this role, you’ll provide one-to-one support, helping to adjust lesson materials and plans to ensure accessibility for the pupil you’re supporting. Your in-depth understanding of SEMH and ability to manage challenging behaviour will be key to fostering a nurturing and positive learning environment.
While previous school-based SEMH experience is ideal, we welcome applicants from other fields who are passionate about making a difference in this area.
Starting pay: £85+ per day
