We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team in Manchester. This role involves leading activities with individuals or small groups of students, supporting their physical, emotional, and educational development in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and facilitate activities with individuals or small groups of students to promote their physical, emotional, and educational development.
• Support students in enhancing self-esteem and building resilience.
• Assist in promoting positive behaviours and emotional regulation.
• Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly SEMH.
• Good oral communication skills and the ability to engage with students effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Available for full-time work or at least 3 days per week.
• Enhanced DBS certificate in the update service (or willingness to apply).
