The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with a range of special educational needs
• Assist the classroom teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
• Support children with autism, ADHD, hearing or visual impairments, and other learning disabilities
• Encourage social, emotional, and academic development
• Adapt resources to suit individual needs and abilities
• Promote independence, confidence, and engagement in learning
• Help maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
Your role will be vital in supporting both the students and the teacher to ensure all learners can reach their full potential.

Requirements
• Experience supporting children with special educational needs
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one) and membership in the DBS Update Service
• Two professional references
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability
• Full-time availability (Monday to Friday)
• Proactive and resilient approach to working in a busy classroom environment
