Are you a compassionate and experienced SEN TA looking to support young learners in Birmingham?
We’re seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Birmingham, providing essential support to children with special educational needs.
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Key Responsibilities:
• Support children 1:1 or in small groups with SEN (e.g. Autism, ADHD, SEMH)
• Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCPs
• Promote a nurturing, inclusive environment for all learners
• Help pupils build confidence and achieve their full potential
Requirements:
• SEN support experience in a primary setting
• Patience, resilience, and empathy
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
