Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Bolton.
Role Overview:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Support children 1:1 and in small groups across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
• Assist children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Dyslexia, EAL, Down Syndrome, Hearing and Visual Impairments, Speech & Language needs, and Trauma
• Provide personal care when required
• Work closely with the classroom teacher to implement tailored support strategies
• Be comfortable managing challenging behaviour
• Assist in children’s early development and growth
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience in UK classrooms (Primary or SEN settings)
• SEND Diploma or relevant experience
• Understanding of PRU settings and experience with learning disabilities
• A proactive, hardworking, and committed individual who wants to make a positive impact
• Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
