Do you have a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs? We’re looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join schools across Huddersfield.
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant (SEND)
Pay Rate: £85.04 – £95 per day
Availability: Full-Time & Part-Time roles available
Settings: Early Years & Primary
Your Role Will Include:
Providing 1-1 and small group support for children with a range of special educational needs.
Supporting children with Autism, ADHD, and other learning differences.
Helping to implement individualised learning strategies.
Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation.
Collaborating with teachers and SENCOs to create a nurturing learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
UK classroom experience (essential).
Confident supporting SEND pupils across Early Years and Primary.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
A caring, patient, and adaptable approach.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one).
Right to work in the UK.
Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils.
