Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant ready to make a difference? rTriibe is seeking someone just like you to join our dynamic team in Wigan. We’re looking for individuals with experience across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, especially those with a SEND Diploma and substantial classroom experience in the UK.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Support children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEND) including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
Assist the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education to students.
Provide 1:1 and small group support to help children with their learning, focusing on their individual development needs.
Manage challenging behavior and ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
Help children with their social, emotional, and academic growth in line with their personal development plans.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Must-Have Qualifications: ✅
Experience working in an SEN setting (EYFS, KS1, KS2).
SEND Diploma or relevant qualifications in Special Educational Needs.
Proven ability to support children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or similar needs.
️ A valid DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one).
️ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience with challenging behavior is an advantage.
