We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 in a primary school setting. This role involves providing 1:1 support and small group interventions for children with diverse special educational needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Dyslexia, Down Syndrome, EAL, Speech and Language difficulties, hearing and visual impairments, trauma, and PRU experience. You will work closely with the classroom teacher, assisting in children’s early development and learning progress while creating a supportive and inclusive environment.
The ideal candidate will have a SEND Diploma and UK classroom-based experience. You must be proactive, patient, and confident in managing challenging behaviour, with a strong understanding of personal care needs and supporting children with learning disabilities. Your role will involve adapting teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs and ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position with competitive pay. Applicants must have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
