Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? rTriibe is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join primary and secondary schools in Pensby, making a meaningful impact from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 5. This role is ideal for those experienced with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support classroom teachers in delivering lessons and learning activities
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND
• Assist in managing challenging behaviour and promoting positive engagement
• Help implement personalised learning plans to support individual pupil progress
• Uphold safeguarding policies and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment
Qualifications and Skills:
• SEND diploma or equivalent qualification
• Experience supporting children with SEND in UK classrooms
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service
• Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
• Proactive and committed approach to supporting pupils’ development
• First aid certification is desirable but not essential (training can be provided)
