This role requires experience within EYFS, KS1, or KS2 settings and a strong understanding of SEND, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support that enables every child to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with special educational needs.
• Assist the class teacher in implementing personalised learning plans and EHCP targets.
• Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs.
• Use effective behaviour management strategies to support positive outcomes.
• Adapt learning materials to meet individual learning styles and abilities.
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
• Promote social, emotional, and academic development.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and ensure the welfare of all pupils.

Requirements
• SEND Diploma (or equivalent relevant qualification).
• Experience working in UK primary school settings (EYFS, KS1, or KS2).
• Strong understanding of Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and additional needs.
• Confident in managing challenging behaviour in a calm and supportive manner.
• Proactive, reliable, and committed work ethic.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional references covering the last 24 months.
