Are you a Psychology student with a strong interest in Special Educational Needs and a desire to make a genuine impact in the classroom? rTriibe is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Wallasey.
This role offers valuable, hands-on experience in a UK school setting, supporting children with a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD and SEMH.

Role and Responsibilities
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Provide 1:1 support or work with small groups of pupils with SEN
• Support students with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH and other additional needs
• Work closely with the class teacher to implement tailored learning strategies
• Assist with early development and targeted interventions
• Support pupils’ emotional regulation and social development
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Provide personal care where required

Qualifications and Requirements
The successful candidate will:
• Be currently studying Psychology or hold a Diploma in SEND (or equivalent relevant experience)
• Have prior experience working in a UK classroom (essential)
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of SEN, including Autism, ADHD and SEMH
• Be proactive, patient and reliable
• Be able to commit to full-time hours, Monday to Friday
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
• Provide references covering the past 24 months
