Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Rate: £85.04–£95 per day
Location: Redditch
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in UK classrooms.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1-1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN needs.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
Support pupils in Early Years and Primary settings with both academic and social development.
Use effective classroom and behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to support pupil progress.
Requirements:
Previous UK classroom experience (SEND experience essential).
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Available full-time or part-time.
