rTriibe is on the lookout for an extraordinary SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team in Salford! If you’re proactive, hardworking, and committed to making a positive impact, this is the role for you. We are seeking a dedicated individual with experience in UK classroom settings, particularly working with secondary-aged students, and a diploma in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Responsibilities:
• Support students with a range of special educational needs (SEND) on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Work closely with the classroom teacher to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Provide assistance to students with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Dyslexia, and other learning needs.
• Assist with personal care as required and offer support in managing challenging behaviors.
• Help students with hearing or visual impairments, and speech and language communication needs.
• Encourage student participation and progress, ensuring all students thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications:
• Experience working in UK classrooms, particularly with secondary-aged students.
• Diploma in SEND or equivalent qualification.
• Familiarity with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Dyslexia, and other learning difficulties.
• Experience with personal care and managing challenging behaviors.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply).
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient approach.
Availability:
Full-time, Monday to Friday.
