Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and making a real difference in their lives? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bolton.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Support pupils with a range of SEN including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Down Syndrome, Dyslexia, EAL, visual/hearing impairments, trauma, and speech & language communication needs
• Assist with personal care where necessary
• Work closely with the class teacher to implement tailored learning strategies
• Promote a safe and inclusive classroom environment
• Support the early development and academic progress of children with learning difficulties
• Manage challenging behaviour with confidence and empathy
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience in a UK classroom setting
• A SEND Diploma or relevant qualification
• Strong knowledge and understanding of a range of SEN
• Experience supporting children in PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) settings (desirable)
• A proactive and patient approach to working with children
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• An Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday
• Competitive pay rates based on experience
• Immediate start available Rate: £85.04-95
