Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Rate: £85.04 – £95 per day
Location: Waltham Abbey (EN9)
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team and support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This role is suited for individuals with UK classroom experience who are confident working across Early Years and Primary settings.
Key Requirements:
Previous UK classroom experience (essential)
Experience supporting pupils with SEND needs
Ability to provide 1:1 and small group support
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Available for full-time or part-time work
Responsibilities:
Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs in Early Years and Primary classrooms
Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions to aid learning and development
Promoting positive behaviour and an inclusive learning environment
Assisting teachers with classroom support and adapting resources to suit individual needs
Encouraging pupil independence, confidence, and progress
