Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs? rTriibe is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join schools in West Kirby. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference, working 1:1 or in small groups to help children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a variety of needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Dyslexia, and visual impairments. You will work closely with classroom teachers to implement strategies, adapt resources, and foster independence, confidence, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assist in delivering personalised learning activities tailored to individual needs
• Collaborate with teachers to develop strategies for behaviour management and academic progress
• Monitor and record pupil development and provide feedback to teaching staff
• Encourage independence and positive behaviour
• Adapt classroom resources for accessibility
• Promote an inclusive, supportive, and structured learning environment
• Follow safeguarding and child protection policies at all times

Requirements
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or Dyslexia
• Strong skills in managing challenging behaviour
• Proactive, patient, and empathetic approach
• Relevant qualifications or certificates (e.g., Autism Awareness, ADHD Awareness) are a plus
• Background in Psychology or Criminology is advantageous
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
