Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a genuine difference every day? rTriibe is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school community in West Kirby.
This rewarding role involves providing tailored support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, visual impairments, and Speech and Language communication needs. You will work both 1:1 and with small groups, helping children to develop academically, socially, and emotionally in a nurturing and structured environment.
The Role:
• Providing individual and small-group support for pupils with SEND
• Supporting early development, learning, and personal growth
• Assisting with behaviour management using a calm and proactive approach
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support plans
• Encouraging positive engagement and independence
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience in a UK classroom setting
• SEND Diploma (or relevant qualification)
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, visual impairments, and Speech & Language needs
• Confidence in managing challenging behaviour positively and effectively
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive attitude
• Full-time availability (Monday to Friday)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Working full time, Monday to Friday, you’ll be an integral part of a supportive team, assisting Primary School children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. Your role will involve working closely with classroom teachers to support each child’s individual needs, contributing to their early development and growth. Experience with challenging behaviour?
