The Role
You’ll be supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, providing both 1:1 and small group support. Your experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs will be key in helping pupils thrive academically and emotionally.
Working closely with classroom teachers, you will:
• Deliver tailored support to meet individual learning needs
• Assist with behaviour management in a positive and proactive manner
• Support pupils with personal care where required
• Encourage confidence, independence, and social development
• Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
• A SEND Diploma or relevant qualification
• Previous classroom or SEN experience
• Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, etc.)
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Two professional references covering the last 24 months
• A proactive, patient, and compassionate attitude
