Roles & Responsibilities:
* Support students with special educational needs (SEND) on a 1-1 or small group basis.
* Assist in implementing EHCP (Education, Health, and Care Plans) to support students’ individual needs.
* Provide tailored support for students with learning difficulties, Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other needs.
* Help manage behavior and use de-escalation strategies where necessary.
* Support students with literacy, numeracy, and life skills development.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
* Assist with personal care (if required) and promote independence.
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the SENCO and teachers.
* Ensure a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
* UK classroom experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant
* Experience supporting students with SEND and learning disabilities
* Strong understanding of behavior management strategies
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
