Are you a passionate and creative Design & Technology Teacher with experience supporting SEND students? We are seeking a SEND Design & Technology Teacher to join a supportive school in Rochdale, where you will have the opportunity to inspire students through hands-on, practical learning experiences.
In this role, you will design and deliver engaging and accessible lessons across various D&T disciplines, ensuring students develop technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and confidence in their creativity. Whether working one-on-one or with small groups, you will tailor your teaching approach to meet individual learning needs, creating an inclusive and encouraging environment.
To be successful in this position, you must hold a Ba/BSc (Hons) with QTS, ECT, NQT, or QTLS, along with a Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), MDTechEd, or PGCE Secondary Design and Technology. A strong understanding of Design & Technology principles and classroom and behaviour management is essential, as well as previous experience supporting SEND students.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) is required, along with UK school-based experience or similar educational settings.
