Are you passionate about supporting students in English and creating a positive learning environment? We are looking for a SEND English Cover Supervisor in Bolton to work with students, ensuring they stay engaged and confident in their studies.
In this role, you will supervise and support classes in the absence of the teacher, while also providing one-to-one and small group support for students with special educational needs (SEN). Your strong understanding of English, combined with effective classroom and behaviour management skills, will help create a structured and supportive learning atmosphere where students can thrive.
To be successful in this role, you should have 5 GCSEs (A-C), including English and Maths*, along with UK school-based experience. While a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Cover Supervision, or a PGCE is preferred, it is not essential. Above all, you’ll need great energy, patience, and a sense of humour to inspire and motivate students. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one is also required.
