Are you passionate about making a real impact in the lives of children with special educational needs? rTriibe is looking for a SEND Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a thriving school community in Manchester. If you’re experienced, motivated, and ready to go above and beyond to support pupils, this could be your next exciting opportunity.
As a SEND HLTA, you’ll work full-time providing both 1:1 and small group support to students with additional learning needs. You’ll play an essential role in delivering targeted interventions and supporting class teachers in delivering an inclusive, nurturing environment. With your Level 4 or 5 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent), and relevant UK school-based experience, you’ll step confidently into the classroom to make a meaningful difference.
We’re seeking someone who has Level 2 English and Maths skills, knows how to use ICT effectively, and is trained in relevant learning strategies like literacy. Additional specialist skills, such as sign language, are a big plus. Your natural ability to build trust, solve problems creatively, and support every child to reach their full potential will be key.
You’ll need an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to get one), along with a genuine interest in self-development and keeping up-to-date with current teaching practices.
