Are you a compassionate and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs? rTriibe is seeking a dedicated SEND HLTA to join a supportive school setting in Salford, where your skills can truly make a difference.
This is a fantastic full-time opportunity for someone with UK school-based experience and a strong understanding of how to support children with additional needs, whether through 1:1 support or in small group settings. With your Level 4 or 5 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, and up-to-date knowledge of current teaching strategies and curriculum developments, you’ll be equipped to lead targeted interventions, assist with lesson delivery, and foster inclusive learning environments.
We’re looking for someone who holds Level 2 English and Maths qualifications (or equivalent), is confident using ICT to support learning, and has been trained in relevant strategies such as literacy or communication-based approaches. If you have specialist skills or training, such as sign language, that’s a major plus!
You’ll be a positive force in the classroom—creative, solutions-focused, and able to build strong, trusting relationships with students, staff, and families. Your proactive nature, resilience, and ability to think on your feet will help you thrive in a dynamic SEND setting.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) is essential.
