Are you a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a heart for SEND education? rTriibe is looking for an enthusiastic SEND HLTA to join a vibrant school in Stockport, where you’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact supporting pupils with additional needs.
This full-time role will see you delivering tailored interventions and classroom support to students with SEND, either 1:1 or in small groups, helping them build confidence and achieve their potential. You’ll work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement effective strategies and foster an inclusive, nurturing learning environment.
We’re seeking someone with a Level 4 or 5 TA qualification, backed by solid experience in UK school settings. You’ll need Level 2 English and Maths skills, be trained in learning strategies like literacy or numeracy, and ideally bring specialist knowledge—such as sign language or subject-specific training. Strong ICT skills, a proactive mindset, and a natural ability to build trusting relationships with both pupils and colleagues are essential.
Your creative problem-solving, commitment to ongoing self-development, and up-to-date understanding of SEND and curriculum developments will help you thrive in this role. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) is required.
