Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young learners? rTriibe is on the lookout for a dedicated and compassionate Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant to support a vibrant school in Blackburn. In this role, you’ll be working closely with students who have Special Educational Needs, offering both one-to-one support and small group guidance to help them thrive academically and emotionally. You’ll bring patience, empathy, and a calm presence to the classroom, supporting pupils with a range of needs and helping them navigate their learning journey.
To be successful, you should be available full-time and hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Certificate, NVQ CACHE Level 2, or equivalent qualification such as the RQF – TQUK Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools Certificate. You’ll also need UK school-based experience or something similar, and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one). Strong verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to adapt and remain calm under pressure are essential.
