Are you passionate about supporting students in Mathematics and making a difference in the classroom? We are looking for a SEND Maths Cover Supervisor in Bolton to work with students in a structured, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
In this role, you will supervise and support classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring students stay on track with their learning. You will provide one-to-one and small group support for students with special educational needs (SEN), helping them develop confidence in their Maths skills. Your strong subject knowledge, combined with excellent classroom and behaviour management skills, will allow you to create a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
To excel in this position, you should have 5 GCSEs (A-C), including Maths and English*, along with UK school-based experience. A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Cover Supervision, or a PGCE is preferred but not essential. Most importantly, you’ll need great energy, patience, and a sense of humour to inspire and engage students. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one is also required.
