Are you passionate about inspiring students in Science and creating a structured, supportive learning environment? We are looking for a SEND Science Cover Supervisor in Bolton to work with students, ensuring they remain engaged and confident in their scientific studies.
In this role, you will supervise and support classes in the absence of the teacher, while also providing one-to-one and small group support for students with special educational needs (SEN). Your strong understanding of Science, paired with effective classroom and behaviour management skills, will help students stay on track with their learning and development.
To excel in this role, you should have 5 GCSEs (A-C), including English and Maths*, and UK school-based experience. While a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Cover Supervision, or a PGCE is preferred, it is not essential. More importantly, we are looking for someone with great energy, patience, and a sense of humour to inspire and engage students. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one is required.
