Are you passionate about sports and physical education and want to inspire young learners with SEND? We are seeking a dedicated SEND Sports Coach to join a dynamic school in Blackburn. As a SEND Sports Coach, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging and adaptive sports sessions tailored to meet the needs of students with special educational needs and disabilities. Your leadership skills, patience, and enthusiasm will be key to motivating students, fostering a love for physical activity, and improving their motor skills, coordination, and teamwork.
The ideal candidate will have UK school-based experience and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one). A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sports Science, Sports Leadership, or a Level 2 sports-specific coaching qualification is highly desirable. Additionally, first aid skills and a strong understanding of behaviour management will be advantageous in this role.
