Are you passionate about making a difference through sport? rTriibe is on the lookout for an energetic and inspiring SEND Sports Coach to join a dedicated educational team in Burnley. If you’re ready to combine your love for physical education with a drive to support pupils with special educational needs, this is your chance to shine.
In this full-time role, you’ll bring your leadership skills, coaching qualifications (such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Sports Science or Sports Leadership, or Level 2 coaching certification), and first aid training to create engaging, inclusive sports sessions that support physical development and teamwork. You’ll have the opportunity to work one-on-one or in small group settings, adapting your approach to meet the diverse needs of each learner.
Your responsibilities will include planning and leading sessions, using your knowledge of teaching and course design, and continuously monitoring your own and others’ performance to ensure the highest standards. A keen eye for detail, excellent verbal communication, and a natural ability to motivate and teach are a must. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) and UK school-based experience or similar are essential.
