Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact in the lives of students with special educational needs? We are seeking a supportive and proactive individual to join a school in Bolton, where you will provide vital one-on-one and small group support to pupils, helping them overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff, ensuring that students receive the individualized attention they need. You will play a crucial role in promoting engagement, confidence, and academic progress, helping students navigate their educational journey with patience and understanding.
To succeed in this role, you should have strong literacy and numeracy skills (A* to C in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent) and excellent teamwork and communication abilities. A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred but not required. Prior experience working with SEND students and a solid understanding of child development will be advantageous.
You must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one) and be available full-time. A flexible and cooperative approach is essential, as you will be working with a range of pupils and adapting to their individual needs.
