Are you a dedicated and empathetic individual with a passion for supporting visually impaired students? rTriibe is on the lookout for a committed Teaching Assistant to join the team in Birmingham this September. If you possess UK school-based experience, hold a minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above including English and Maths, and have that special knack for working with both children and teaching staff, we want to hear from you.

Your role will involve promoting the access, achievements, and well-being of children and young people who are severely sight impaired and may have additional or complex needs. With your teaching assistant qualification and your expertise in using specialist Braille and ICT equipment, you’ll support lessons to achieve positive learning outcomes while also providing information and advice to parents, carers, and schools.

Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential as you work hand in hand with parents and other professionals. Your experience in class supervision will be pivotal as you strive to make a difference in these young students’ lives.
