Are you passionate about sport and inspiring young people through physical activity? rTriibe is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Coach to join a vibrant school community in Blackburn. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver engaging sports sessions that promote teamwork, confidence, and physical wellbeing across a variety of sporting disciplines.
As a Sports Coach, you will be responsible for planning and delivering dynamic lessons that not only build athletic ability but also foster a love of sport and healthy competition. You’ll work alongside PE staff and support learners of all abilities, ensuring each session is inclusive, purposeful, and enjoyable. Your energy, creativity, and leadership will play a key role in developing students’ physical skills and positive attitudes.
To thrive in this role, you should have previous experience in a UK school or similar environment, hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS, and demonstrate a strong understanding of sports coaching principles. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sports Science or Sports Leadership, or a Level 2 sports-specific coaching certification. First aid skills, excellent communication, and a genuine passion for sport are essential.
