⏰ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7-8 hours per day
About the Role:
Are you a dedicated Early Years Practitioner with a passion for supporting young children’s development? We are looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing individual to join our team in Stafford. In this role, you will help create a stimulating and supportive learning environment for children in their early years, ensuring they are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow in a safe and enriching setting.
This is an excellent opportunity for Early Years Practitioners looking to make a positive impact on children’s early education and development.
Key Responsibilities – as an Early Years Practitioner, you will:
• Child-Centered Care: Provide high-quality care for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and physical development.
• Early Years Education: Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities that engage and stimulate children’s learning.
• Observations and Assessments: Monitor and track children’s progress through observations, contributing to individual learning plans.
• Parental Communication: Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child’s development and activities.
• Safeguarding and Well-being: Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children at all times, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other practitioners, teachers, and management to provide a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
Person Specification:
• Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Early Years Practitioner qualification (or equivalent).
• Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and creativity. Ability to work well with young children and in a team.
• Experience: Experience working in an Early Years setting is desirable, particularly with children aged 0-5 years.
• Other Requirements: Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
