Salary: £450 – £500 per week
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time, ideal for Qualified Early Years Practitioners
⏰ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7-8 hours per day
About the Role:
Are you a nurturing and qualified Early Years Practitioner ready to make a difference in the lives of young children? We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our team in Coventry. In this role, you will be key in creating a positive, safe, and stimulating environment that fosters the physical, emotional, and social development of children in their foundational years.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape early learning experiences and make a lasting impact on young children’s growth and development.
Key Responsibilities – as an Early Years Practitioner, you will:
• Child Development Support: Promote the holistic development of children through play, activities, and age-appropriate learning.
• Lesson and Activity Planning: Plan and deliver engaging activities that support early learning and cater to individual developmental needs.
• Observations and Assessments: Conduct regular observations to track each child’s progress, identify areas of growth, and tailor activities to their needs.
• Parent Communication: Engage with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child’s progress and development milestones.
• Health and Safety: Ensure a safe, clean, and secure environment for all children, adhering to safeguarding and health protocols.
• SEN Support: Work closely with children with additional needs, implementing inclusive practices to help every child thrive.
Person Specification:
• Qualifications: Level 3 or above in Early Years Education or Childcare.
• Skills: Excellent communication, patience, creativity, and a caring approach to working with young children.
• Experience: Prior experience in an early years setting, with a solid understanding of child development and early education practices.
• Other Requirements: Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
