About the Role:
Are you a skilled Teaching Assistant looking to further your experience in a supportive school environment? We are searching for a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant to join our Birmingham team, where you will provide essential support to teachers and help create a positive learning atmosphere for students. This role is ideal for those with experience in education, especially in assisting with students’ individual learning needs.

Key Responsibilities – as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons, providing additional support to students who need it.
• Individual and Group Assistance: Work with small groups or individual students, offering targeted help to improve learning outcomes.
• Resource Preparation: Help prepare teaching materials and classroom resources to aid in lesson delivery.
• Behaviour Support: Assist with managing classroom behaviour, promoting a positive and productive environment.
• Student Progress: Monitor and report on student progress, offering feedback and encouragement to support their academic journey.
• Support for SEN: Provide specialized assistance to students with SEN (Special Educational Needs), fostering an inclusive classroom.
Person Specification:
• Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent).
• Skills: Strong communication, patience, and a nurturing approach with students.
• Experience: Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally with SEN experience or in a primary/secondary school setting.
• Other Requirements: Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
