Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons for all key stages, including a variety of sports and fitness activities.
Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Organize extracurricular sports clubs, school teams, and competitive events.
Promote teamwork, fitness, and healthy lifestyle choices among students.
Ensure that all activities are delivered in a safe and inclusive environment.
Maintain a positive and supportive classroom with effective behaviour management.
Collaborate with other departments and staff to promote cross-curricular learning opportunities.
Requirements:
BA/BSc (Hons) in Physical Education or a related subject (which includes QTS, ECT, or NQT).
5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), including English and Maths.
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain a new one).
Previous UK school-based experience or similar.
Excellent communication, organisational, and administrative skills.
Enthusiastic approach to working with children, with a focus on classroom management and student engagement. Rate: £150-200 per day
