Are you a passionate History teacher looking to inspire the next generation of learners? We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of History to join a school in Oldham, where you will play a key role in delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons that bring the past to life.
As a History Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic and well-structured lessons, ensuring students develop a strong understanding of historical events, critical thinking skills, and a love for the subject. You will be expected to implement effective classroom and behaviour management strategies, catering to students of all abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEN). Collaborating with support staff and parents, you will help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
The ideal candidate will hold a Ba/BSc (Hons) with QTS, be an ECT or NQT, and possess a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). A strong understanding of History, experience supporting SEN students, and prior teaching experience in a UK school setting are essential. A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required, or you must be willing to obtain one.
