We are seeking an inspirational Teacher of Humanities to join a school in Oldham, where you will have the opportunity to engage students with thought-provoking lessons in subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies.
As a Teacher of Humanities, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons, encouraging critical thinking, curiosity, and a deeper understanding of the world. You will create a supportive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring that all students, including those with special educational needs (SEN), have the opportunity to succeed. Using effective classroom and behaviour management strategies, you will inspire students to develop a passion for Humanities subjects and support their academic progress.
The ideal candidate will hold a Ba/BSc (Hons) with QTS, be an ECT or NQT, and possess a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). A strong understanding of Humanities subjects, experience supporting SEN students, and previous UK school teaching experience are essential. A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required, or you must be willing to obtain one.
