A Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable and experience with specialist Braille and ICT equipment will give you an edge.
Working closely with teaching staff, you’ll assist in tailoring learning experiences that empower students with visual impairments, ensuring their access and achievements meet positive outcomes. Your role will extend to offering guidance to parents and carers, making a genuine impact in the lives of children with unique educational needs.
This rewarding position requires you to have at least 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and Maths, and school-based experience.
