We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team in a Manchester-based primary school. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 while supporting children’s learning and development.
Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Plan and deliver activities to support pupils with their learning and development
• Assist with routines, transitions, and behaviour management
• Prepare classrooms for lessons and help maintain a productive learning environment
• Coordinate specific areas of teaching support and work 1:1 with pupils
• Build positive relationships with pupils, promoting high self-esteem and independence
• Follow school policies and procedures to ensure effective teaching and safeguarding
• Promote the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils
Requirements:
• Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Experience working in a UK-based school or familiarity with the UK educational system
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Experience with EYFS, KS1, and KS2
• A proactive approach to building relationships and supporting pupils’ learning
