Role Overview
As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will play a key role in supporting classroom learning, promoting positive behaviour, and helping pupils build confidence and independence.
Key Responsibilities
• Support pupils with learning in both 1:1 and group settings
• Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Promote positive behaviour and effective classroom management
• Build strong relationships to support pupil wellbeing and self-esteem
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
Requirements
• Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience working in UK primary or secondary school settings
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Proactive, reliable, and passionate about education
